About

Brief Bio:

Ron Matson took up photography seriously late in life after a professional career, and has become quite passionate about it. He is a dedicated amateur, but strives for professional quality output. He enjoys experimenting with many facets of digital imaging, and finds it exhilarating to place himself in uncomfortable situations to expand his photography horizons.

He has recently developed a somewhat unique technique of photography which features flashlights for lighting, many exposures, and stacked layers in Photoshop for processing. Illustrations of it can be found in the Old Metal Gallery.
